Beijing
A vending machine at the Beijing airport. We took a domestic flight to Shanghai; I would say that our time at the airport terminal was easily the least Westernized portion of our trip.

The Ritan market was unlike any other I have seen. The stores were essentially offices with racks and piles of clothing for sale.
It was quite the voyage to get here, to the market at the Ritan Office Building.

For some reason, it struck me as bizarre that Starbucks was virtually identical to the ones we have at home.
