2007 – China
In December 2007, I went on a work trip to China for one week. I spent a few days in Beijing, a few days in Shanghai, and managed to see the Great Wall!
And there's Vancouver, complete with Stanley Park.
Honestly, I felt like I was seeing my grade nine geography text book come to life.
Flying back to B.C. the scenery was just as fantastic.
If only we had read the text on the other side earlier in our trip. Apparently, you don't have to pay for your taxi ride if your driver spits while you are in the cab.
A very 'interesting' ad for learning English as a second language.
I can't remember whether this is a restaurant or a gallery, but it certainly is unique!
An interesting street scene in Shanghai. I really liked the trees.
BMW Lifestyle, available in China.
Can you spot the best places to practice tai chi?
Our last morning in Shanghai was sunny, and we explored some areas with pretty architecture.
