2006 – Part 3: Australia
It was a long trip from South Africa to Australia!
Even when the sky looks overcast, the UV rating can be severe.
It didn't actually feel this hot in Cairns, but I believe that it was.
A lot of the other travellers I met in Cairns were just beginning their time in Australia – I was about to leave.

There were signs up for cassowaries, so I thought this was one. Now that I look at the picture again, I think it is a Brush-turkey.
